Which hair extensions are most suited to me?

Ever wondered why certain people have different methods of hair extensions in? Some can be by preference of the client, but a lot of the time it would have been assessed by a professional who would recommend which they think would be best for the hair type and your lifestyle. Let's start off with Nano Hair Extensions - these are individual hair extensions with a metal tip at the top to be attached to the hair with a tiny copper ring. The copper ring also has a ve

ry small thin layer of silicone in the middle to keep the hair even more protected. The reason for this is due to nanos being designed for finer hair strands, making them suitable for people with thin, fine hair, although they can be fitted in medium thickness still.

Nano hair extensions wouldn't be recommended to be fitted into thick, coarse hair as the strands are too thin, and you would need so many nanos to spread out to make it look evenly distributed.

This brings us to the WEFTS, which are more suited to... you got it... thick, coarse hair. The reason for this is that the attachment of a weft is fitted using larger rings called 'Micro Rings', which still has a silicone layer in the middle to ensure it is softer on the hair and prevents damage. You can put more hair in the rings using this method, it will also be hidden much better in this style of hair as there is usually much more padding around the root. Rather than lots of tiny nanos dotted around on a thick head of hair, you would be much better with a weft. We offer a range called the 'FLAT WEFT', which, as it sounds, is flatter than the old-school machine weft it was called. It is the exact same thickness as the machine wefts were; they have just managed to make the root area much flatter, so it's more discreet and comfortable to wear.

If you have a busy lifestyle going to the gym, swimming, being active, etc and tying your hair up is part of your personality at this point, CLIP INS may be your better option so they can just be used when you're going out rather than committing to the full-time maintenance of hair extensions being fitted. You are ideally recommended to only wash fitted hair extensions twice a week maximum to keep the lifespan of the hair, so if you are active and feel like you sweat and wash your hair more than that, then we wouldn't recommend it. You can buy clip-ins at different lengths and have them then cut in by a professional so that layers around your face are done to make them look more natural and then you can also have the freedom of removing them later!
